1969 Mercury Montego MX Station wagon. This Rare MX wagon is a True Survivor. Original #s matching drive train . 6cyl/ 3 on the tree. Original interior and Original Paint! Even has all 4 Original hubcaps. The body and trim are very nice. No rust! Nice Car. It has the two way rear door that opens like a door or a tailgate! Just went through the drivetrain pretty much. Rebuilt original carb. rebuilt original distributor. tuned up. dropped the fuel tank and cleaned out. Cleaned and adjusted the shifting linkage. Bled the brakes (Rare front disc brakes). trans was pulled. cleaned. new fluids and new transmission seals. Had the radiator cleaned and repaired. Lots of original parts under hood. The 50 year old Interior is All original as well. It's showing its age with a few tears in the seats but not terrible. The headliner is falling down and the plastic tire/ side cover in the rear is sunburn't and broken. The driver door latch on the inside is the only part of the wagon missing. It had a stereo installed at one point so there are speaker holes in the door panels and a cut in the dash to install a stereo. You can tell in a couple pictures where the paint has been partially waxed/polished but not finished. This is a very nice survivor wagon that is rock solid and rust free! I can take pictures of any area you would like to see just ask.  You will be very hard pressed to find another Original 69 Montego MX wagon in this Nice of shape. Most of these are long gone now. Keep in mind it's a 50 year old used vehicle and it will need some tlc. I've tried to describe the best I can. This is a Super rare wagon! Please ask questions prior to bidding.
