This is the original Fermier Brothers '62 406 car.  The car  has run 9. 95 @ 131.  The Fermier Brothers '62 Ford 406 Galaxie was the 1965 NASCAR Winter Drags Champion at Spruce Creek Dragway in Daytona Beach and competed at the U. S.  Nationals from 1964 through 1969.

When optioned with single four-barrel 406 big-block rated at 385 horsepower. '62 Galaxies ran in NHRA B/Stock. Fermier Brothers. Jacksonville. Florida. campaigned one of the hottest B/Stockers. running against C/SA Plymouth at Indy Nationals. November 20. 2007Bob Fermier and Jim Amos are restoring the former Fermier Bros B/S 406 Ford Galaxie for Nostalgia Super Stock Drag Racing. The 422 Motorsports Racing Team of Oaks. Pa have assisted with the restoration and the big FE engine is hand crafted by engine builders Rich Lamont and Jay Zolko. Fabricator Dink Bishop has also put his talent to work on the car.  The car was the1965 NASCAR Winter Drags Champion at Spruce CreekDragway in Daytona Beach and competed at the USNationals from 1964 thru 1969FERMEIR/AMOS 62 FORD GALAXIE DRAG CARThis update shows the assembly progress and addition of War Paint. The car will make its first Public Appearance at the Old Drag Racer's Reunion in Panama City. Florida on September 27. 2008.
