A real-deal 1966 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport convertible is a wonderful thing. But when it's restored in great colors. has unbeatable features like A/C. and has a big block under the hood. well. you can understand why you need to be quick to snap this one up.


The Ermine White paint is factory correct. but it benefits from a more modern professional respray to keep the car a white knight. The Impala was the premium Chevy. and so it's highlighted by the crisp lines carried on this exceptionally well cared for classic. It gives this Chevy has the same timeless appeal as a crisp Brooks Brother's button-shirt. But more than just color and metal. even the details are correct - the white electric folding roof fits snugly; the trim is bright and complete; the factory hubcaps are in place; and the doors hang with the crispness not seen in many convertibles of this era. The wide chrome grill up front integrates nicely into the mirror-like bumper. And in the rear. the bumper has a terrific fit as it integrates into the sheetmetal. So the overall effect of this one is a classic that looks smart with its top up or down.


During the restoration . the interior was switched from black to a more eye-catching red. This changeover is so complete. even the convertible boot cover is now red. so you know everything on the inside is far fresher than from the 1960s. This sea of red is given plenty of nice chrome touches on places like the door panels. dash. and steering wheel with cool impala center cap. Chevrolet is offering full-size luxury. and so this droptop is meant to carry five people in total comfort. That's why you have great factory features like power windows and cruise control. Plus. there are some nice upgrades like the AM/FM stereo that has an auxiliary hookup (but still looks period-correct. and ice-cold air conditioning to keep the top down all summer long. But this also a driver's classic. That's why you get the cool center console with console shift for your right hand and power steering for your left one.


The final piece to convince you how much of a cool cruiser this is revealed the moment you pop the hood. That 396 cubic-inch big block V8 has the orange block. matching valve covers. and plenty of gloss black give it the factory correct appearance that they love a car shows. But the big power that comes from this powerplant means you might enjoy driving it so much that you'll never park this one long enough to stay on any event lawns. Plus. while you already know about power steering and cruise control. there's also power brakes and a three-speed automatic to make for a great vintage cruising package.


Complete with restoration receipts and build photos. as well as the owner's manual and original warranty card. you're looking at one loaded. thoughtful build. This Impala offers everything you want in a vintage full-size droptop. and it has all the right upgrades to give you modern comfort. Once we have received the funds. we will prepare the car for international shipment through one of our approved land and ocean carriers. We file all the necessary documents for export. deliver the car to a US port. secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements. You. or your agent. are responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country.
