EXTERIOR
Presented in Solent Blue metallic with a contrasting red stripe. this XJS boasts a deep metallic flake and lustful shine under our studio lights. The paintwork itself is in excellent order throughout with very few imperfections to note. Both sides remain straight and true with good panel alignment all round. The black exterior trim is free from scuffs or damage. the light clusters show no cracks or moisture. and the extensive brightwork retains a wonderful mirror finish.

INTERIOR
The beautifully presented interior has been freshly upholstered in 2015 at a cost of £10. 00. The work included a complete leather re-trim. new headlining. new Wilton carpets. the boot area re-trimmed. and all wood trim re-veneered. As such. the magnolia leather is impeccable throughout with no wear to be found. The seats are finished with blue piping and the Jaguar emblem stitched into the headrests. The contrasting blue carpets are in perfect condition throughout. Within the boot space the tool kit. fire extinguisher. and spare wheel can be found also trimmed in matching blue covers.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Equipped with the 5. 3-litre Jaguar V12. the XJS fires into life and settles to a steady purr. idling up to temperature correctly. Having covered a mere 51k miles since 1988. this example boasts a full and extensive service file recording all work carried out and parts purchased. This also confirms the mileage throughout its life. Furthermore the 3-speed automatic gearbox is silky smooth to operate. shifting through the gears and rev range with aplomb.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The XJS sits on an unmarked set of 15-inch cross-spoke alloy wheels. They are correctly shod in a matching set of Pirelli P600 tyres. eacg with plenty of tread having been recently purchased.

The brake fluid was changed at 48k miles and all discs and pads have plenty of meat left. feeling strong and reassuring to operate. In 2005 the XJS received a complete suspension upgrade by KWE Jaguar at a cost of over £6. 00. as such it drives and handles perfectly.

HISTORY FILE
The Jaguar XJS was sold to its first owner through the supplying dealer Guy Salmon Jaguar Ltd. Surrey in April 1988. He then cherished the car for the next 27 years until it was sold in August 2015. Within the extensive history file can be found the original supplying dealer purchase invoice. V5 registration document. various old MOT certificates. original Jaguar document pack with service booklet. Jaguar pre sales invoices. plus KWE Jaguar certificate and invoices.

In 2005 the XJS went into renowned Jaguar specialists KWE for extensive work including S1 suspension upgrade and various work to bring it up to an excellent standard (photo evidence of work supplied). The work totaled over £14. 00.
