1965 Ford Mustang Convertible V8 4bbl Manual

This is a beautiful. striking red 1965 convertible Mustang with white interior and hood.
Smooth running. original. factory A code. 289. 4 barrel engine with correct intake. exhaust manifold and coil. Recently serviced including oil/air filters. new HT leads and replaced vacuum advance. Brand new. custom made stainless exhaust from manifolds back.
Original manual gearbox!
Factory blue valve covers and lovely chrome air cleaner.
Clean. carbon black engine bay.
All tyres have good tread and wheels are in good condition.
Very desirable colour combination. white "bucket" seats up front. matching rear bench and door cards. all in excellent condition.
Red carpet which contrasts nicely without clashing.
Nice dash but does have a small scratch on the drivers side top. Dials are good condition. all gauges. speedo. wipers etc work although the fuel gauge is a little pessimistic.
Original steering wheel.
The white roof is in excellent condition. No rips or tears. operates smoothly.
Solid boot floor. painted red. with spare wheel and original "trunk mat".
New fuel tank and sender.

Good bodywork but does have the odd mark. The paint is bright and shines very nicely!

68000 miles. all the numbers line up nicely (wonky numbers suggest tampering).
UK legal rear light conversion that retains the factory (all red) tail lights.
Brand new halogen headlights with sidelights to conform to UK law and also greatly improve night time vision.
This is a very desirable 1965 Mustang with smooth running A code engine and 3 speed manual gearbox. A real head turner with it's fantastic colour combination and excellent condition. The car runs perfectly and everything works (apart from the radio as mentioned. but frankly with the lovely noise it makes you won't want the radio on anyway!).
A turnkey classic ready to be shown in car shows or meets immediately.
