LOVELY TIDY BLACK MGB ROADSTER

1980 BLACK MG ROADSTER IN VERY NICE CONDITION  

Here we have our 1980 MG Roadster. it is excellent condition. mainly because it has spent a considerable amount of its life in Southern Spain.

This car is one that gives you the grin factor. it is very eye catching and turns heads wherever you drive it.

If you are after a very useable. affordable and very nice looking roadster this is the one for you. It is a classic car with a modern car feel to it. it's not the usual rattling basket case of an MG. this one has been looked after and had some money spent on it. I can't describe it as concourse because it isn't but it is definitely one that you would happy to take to the local shows and MG rally over the summer and not feel like the poor relation.    

As you can see the bodywork and paint is all in very good condition. there are some very minor blemishes i. e. very small dent on the drivers side rear quarter panel which looks like a trolley dent and the odd minor imperfection in the paint (lets face it. it is 33 years old!) but nothing to detract from the overall fantastic look of the car.

The interior is again in excellent condition with the original leather seats being very comfortable not like the earlier back breakers. As you can see the steering wheel and the dash board compliment the exterior colour very well and gives the car a real feel of quality.  

It starts first turn of the key and also drives as well as it looks. it has obviously had some money spent on it over the years and has been well loved. this shows in the overall condition and reliability.

Underneath it all appears very solid. again it is not the usual stitched together floor pans and boot floor with filler for wheel arches. Under the bonnet is also very clean and tiny as you can see from the pictures.

The car comes with an MOT until August but I cannot see why it would not sail through another MOT. I may even put it through one before the end of the auction. that is if i can get the time to do it.

It is currently registered SORN but i could tax it at the buyers cost.

I can't seem to find all of the photos that i took the other day anly the ones that I have added. i will take some more photos and add them tomorrow.

I have just noticed a small hole in the hood about an inch long next to the drivers side window but the rest of the hood is in great condition. it isn't that noticable and certainly would not detract from the enjoyment of driving the car.

Please understand that this car is a really great example of a roadster but it is 33 years old. so please don't bid expecting it to be concourse or perfect. Please feel free to view the car as it is worth it but do not bid and then expect to haggle. nobody wants or needs that!!!!!

A deposit of £200. 00 will be required from the purchaser at the end of the auction the balance to be paid either by bank transfer prior to collection or in cash on collection.
