One of 709 Official Torino Pace Cars built in 1968. this car is believed to be the only '68 Indianapolis 500 Pace Car in Australia. Imported to Australia as a clean rust free survivor and fully restored here to showroom condition. Have a close look at the photos (scroll down) and you will see what I mean when I say the car speaks for itself. Paintwork is near perfect throughout the car. no corners have been cut. Just look at the car and you can see that a whole lot of time was spent on the crucial preperation that is necesary for a finish like this. The wimbleton White paint with the Indy 500 graphics is absolute eye candy and would suit the fussiest buyer. The interior is as new from the carpet to the convertible top frame. Everything works. all gauges. lights. indicators. wipers. washers. courtesy lights. radio. nbsp;all in working order. Turn the motor off and you can hear the electric clock ticking away. it actually works as well! Top is electric and you guessed it. brand spanking new with glass rear window. All windows wind up and down well. both doors lock with the key. Trunk is fitted out with a dress kit and come with spare. jack and wheelbrace. Car has two sets of keys.

Engine is the original 302W V8 with Aluminum Heads. mild cam. nbsp;4bbl edelbrock. ceramic coated headers and dual exhaust. The car runs beautifully with no issues to mention. Wheels and tires are new and excellent condition. underneath the car is very clean and again everything is new. All suspension bushes. ball joint. brakes. nbsp;steering arms. tie rod ends. nbsp;brake hoses. fuel lines etc. are all new. It's like a new car underneath. No oil leaks at all!!! There is nothing to spend on this car. just drive away and enjoy. comes with a Queensland roadworthy certificate if sold in Qld. otherwise buyer responsible for saftey inspection.  I can honestly say that this car would pass any inspection with flying colours.
