Here we have a: LHD 1969 T2 Volkswagen VW Double Crew Cab Pick Up Truck. It's a running restoration project. This is a native USA vehicle and has been imported to the UK.

This is a genuine vehicle. that has never previously succumb to a restoration; there are no signs that the vehicle have ever been subject to welding. etc.

The former keeper of the vehicle had employed the services of a VW specialist. who spent 35 hours labour and up to $2000 getting the vehicle fit for use in FL. This work is recorded on a receipt. which is included in the sale. The vehicle was a daily runner and was used primarily for transporting VW parts. The main repair work includes: a brand new genuine windscreen and rubber seal. that doesn't leak; spark plugs. a 009 distributor. new filters and oil. new v / c gaskets. new brake hoses and cables. new starter motor. new sender unit. new battery. new tyres. genuine replacement rear bumper. lower pulley. new general pulley. and new belts. The valves have been adjusted. and the engine has been tuned up.

We have no reason to dispute the validity of the current mileage. which is: 79. 000.

Although this vehicle would deserve a restoration; to get the vehicle to British MOT standard. all that would it would approximately require is: both cills. welding on the main centre cross beam. welding on the driver's side jacking point. couple of drive shaft rubbers on the rear. and small amount of repair work on the floor pan.
