British classic Bond Bug 700 ES British classic Bond Bug 700 ES Welcome to the sale of our Bond Bug 700 ES. this is a beautiful example of this iconic 70’s three wheel speedster.
Freshly restored by renowned motor engineer Phillip Alldridge. Whitchurch. this car has been completely stripped and lovingly rebuilt by experienced hands. please watch my detailed video tour to confirm.
The British built Bond Bug’s were built in limited numbers between 1970-74. only 2270 cars were built. making this car extremely rare indeed. only 72 cars now register for the UK roads!
Bond Bug was a truly different and iconic design. super lightweight. economical. fun drive and a real 70’s futuristic fashion look. I remember them so well. looking through my young and impressionable eyes. needless to say I was impressed back then!!

The car -

Up-rated 850cc engine. (as badges indicate).
First registered - 8th July 1971
MOT due date - June 2017
Galvanised chassis
Powder coated rear axle and suspension arms
Completely re-trimmed interior
Inertia real seat belts fitted
Mechanics are in perfect order. no leaks/smoke etc. (All up to scratch with every fluid replaced)
LED indicators and rear lamps fitted. including high level brake lamp.
Hagen fully adjustable rear coil-over dampers fitted for added stability.


New parts fitted -

Brake shoes.
Brake cylinders
Brake hoses and copper pipes
Hagen rear dampers
Aluminium radiator and thermo control electric fan fitted
Every coolant hose replaced
Every fluid replaced
Spark plugs. points and condenser replaced
New Oil and Air filters replaced
New interior trim throughout
New and very bright paintwork and decals
New battery and washer bottle/pump
New motorcycle exhaust
New door and trim seals
3 new tyres fitted. 2 rears Yokohama.

Basically. if it needed replacing it has been!
