2002 Jaguar S-Type R
Introduced in 1999. the new S-Type was Jaguar`s all-new executive saloon with both name and styling echoing back to the sporting saloons of the 1960`s. Available with a variety of petrol and diesel engines. the flagship of the range was undoubtedly the S-Type R (known as the STR). a 4. 2 litre V8 supercharged beast producing 400bhp and capable of propelling the car to 60mph in just 5. 3 seconds. The STR naturally came with its own specification: 18” alloys. front and rear aprons. side-skirts. rear spoiler. R-badging to front wings. boot lid and brake calipers and a rear sub-frame brace to aid stability. With production ceasing in 2008. the STR is now tipped to be a modern classic and as such currently represents huge performance and value for money.
Our car in Silver with full Black leather is an early example dating from 2002. the first year of build. With just 102. 00 miles recorded. the car comes with full Jaguar history (12 stamps) and was last serviced less than 3000 miles ago. It comes with a full Book-pack. a full file of Jaguar service receipts. old MOT Certificates and a current MOT to August 2016.
