As you can see from the thick binder of records and receipts. this Mallard Green Tr6 has been very well cared for its entire life. Everyone knows that TR6s can suffer from severe rust in the rear doglegs and throughout the body–this car is very straight and solid. free from the rust that has unfortunately come to define these gorgeous cars. Mechanically. the car shifts and stops great. The rare electric overdrive option works great. as do all the lights and electrics. The motor on the car pulls strong with great oil pressure. It does not overheat or smoke. The exhaust note on the car sounds spectacular. It roars to life unlike just about any British car I have ever driven. The TR6s have always had more muscle than the typical British sportscar and this gorgeous example is no exception. The paint does have a few nicks and scratches in it. but the car is a great looking and presentable driver.

Since we have had the car we have had our mechanic go straight through it. which included replacing the often problematic master cylinder. He has given it a clean bill of health and she is ready for the road! During our ownership we have put over 100 miles on her just to make sure she is ready for her new home. And what a fun 100 miles they were!

When we got her to our place. she looked great but the top was old and tired. We dug deep and put a brand new. original style top on it (the expensive one. not the cheap replacement!). Top to bottom this Mallard Green TR6 is ready for a new home and for some summer driving. The overdrive means that this baby will cruise down the highway comfortably at 80mph without straining. Add in a nice sounding modern radio with Ipod hookup and you have the perfect summer classic for cheap money!
