1966 MG MGB

Classic Era Motors is pleased to offer this 1966 MGB GT.   We purchased this car in 2014 with less than 50. 00 miles on the odometer which is believed to be accurate. however the title is listed as mileage exempt.   At the time of our purchase it was in excellent mechanical condition with an interior that looked brand new.   Documentation shows that in 2014. the car had the following work done from Motorcar Garage in Maple Shade. NJ.   It received a new clutch slave cylinder. oil cooler. new cooling fan. radiator hoses. braided brake hoses. braided fuel hoses. Halogen sealed beam headlamps. chrome buckled lap belts. chrome bullet mirrors. interior door handles. 60 spoke chrome wire wheels. wire wheel knockoffs with MG emblems and Dunlop Tires.   It also received interior upgrades including new interior kick panels. decorative sill plates. and new seats. The seats and door panels feature an attractive black color with red piping.

The condition of the paint and body were not to the level of the remainder of the car so we performed an extensive cosmetic restoration.   The car was completely stripped to bare metal. any required repairs were properly made with metal and it was painted in the original tartan red color with 2 stage paint.   At this time. we also replaced all the rubber seals. installed new black loop carpeting. windshield and a clutch.   It is now in excellent condition throughout including the exterior. interior and mechanicals.   It starts every time. runs well. the 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly and it drives beautifully.   This car was meant to be enjoyed.   We encourage interested buyers to visit our shop to inspect the vehicle; the photos do not do justice to the quality of the car.

Terms of Sale

Payment:

A $750 deposit via PayPal is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the vehicle leaves our premises. If no contact is made with the buyer within 24 hours of the end of auction we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or make a second chance offer to another buyer. Payment methods we accept are certified check. cash in person. or funds transfer from a financial institution.   Certified checks must clear before vehicle departs our premises. All PA residents are subject to state tax. title. license. and registration fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for taxes and fees in the state which they reside in.

Inspection:

Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you.   Classic Era Motors has tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction.   Please be advised that used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail.   Classic Era welcomes and recommends a buyer's inspection.   If you plan to have a buyers inspection. please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending.   Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees.

Shipping and delivery:

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.   We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped. full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

We reserve the right to end the auction at any time if the vehicle is no longer for sale. Vehicle is for sale at a brick and mortar dealership.  

All funds will be in US Dollars.  Please have your financing in place before bidding.   We prefer a funds transfer from a financial institution.  All funds must be received and all checks cleared before the vehicle departs our premises.  A $750 deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction close if you are the winning bidder.
