This charming Morgan 4/4 2 seater was delivered new by Flaving Morgan in Germany to a British Army officer. who returned it to the UK when he retired from the forces. It had been ordered by his wife as a 50th birthday present. and was built at the Morgan factory to a similar specification to the 70th Anniversary limited edition cars.
Finished in Le Mans green with Black leather upholstery piped green. it benefits from having the 1. 8 litre Ford Duratec engine. This power unit is a significant improvement over the earlier Zetec engine. having a timing chain instead of a belt. and is a noticably smoother and more willing motor.
It also benefits from having a galvanised chassis. stainless steel bulkhead and valances. Cuprinolled frame. aluminium body and wings. stainless steel bumpers. luggage rack and round door mirrors.
The weather equipment comprises 'Easy-up' hood. tonneau cover and sidescreens.
Still in the same ownership. the car has now done just 12. 00 miles and has been properly maintained. recently having Rutherford hard chrome king-pins fitted.
The car is a real joy to drive.
