ford escort rs1600i zetec, xtensive history

hi there this is my escort rs1600i only had her few weeks but insurance is robbing me because i am 20 with no no claims!!! so sadly she has to go as shes now sat up but tax n tested. i got her from inverness in scotland 600 miles away! and by the time i got to glasgow it ate 5th gear. i had her recoverd home as i didnt want to take the risk ov driving it but ive driven it for 3 days localy and all other gears are fine so still driveable! it drives like a new car and handles the road like its on rails its been fitted with a 1. 8 zetec engine and is verry fast. its an old car classic at that but still quite modern gets attention every were it goes and u see people with big cheezy grins cuz u dont see them anymore. as u can see in the pics its been very well looked after ther is 2 big folders with paperwork including origional 16i handbook audio book etc and service book all stampd up to 70. 000 lots ov old mots aand the new one wich is untill october 22nd also new tax wen i purchased as was going to be my daily driver. got all pics ov when rebuilt ground up althou was a few years ago but have got stacks ov history and 2 folders full ov pics n bits and i am told that the fella workd in ford so all pannels even batry tray were from ford. bonus! really clean car few spots ov rust starting to come thru the bottom ov the doors and tiny bits on topa the bonnet like stone chips verry small other than that arches etc mint xcert tiny buuble on o/s/f wing not many age related marks that i can see wich is not bad for a 30yr old car it really does look stunning and underneath looks good wings arches etc all spot on even suspention etc still verry good nik. it does have sum minor problems tho which the last owner was nice enuf NOT TO TELL ME!  first being the gearbox but usable. rev counter doesnt work neither does the temp guage but easy fix and passenger door handle came off the rod so doesnt open because i locked it and didnt no this so again easy fix. also i think it may be the batry but not sure because it wnt start in the morning (no batry) but once charged will last the day if ur in n outa her i was going to buy a batry but after the fone call off insurance all plans are out the window. last and verry least the d/s/r mudd flapp came off but is in the boot. i have tried to b as honest as i can unlike the last owner so atleast you no. viewing recomended and more than welcome need the car gone asap as gota get another for me kid but i no wat shes worth origional engine or not so no silly offers please but fell free to call 07552113334 for anymore details. cheers. p/x or swap welcome.
