1950 Bentley Special. built from a Bentley Mk V1. chassis number B469FU and engine number B484F. Finished in beautiful azure blue metallic with black leather interior this car has fantastic proportions from all angles resultant from the correct shortening of the chassis and lowered mounting of the radiator grill. The build was started in 2003 and was completed three years later in 2006. The project was overseen by a past chairman of the Scottish Bentley drivers club and is one of nine cars that he helped create. It was built from the chassis up with a Harry Rose type body with aluminum bonnets and side panels. It has a foldable windscreen and also Brooklands aero screens. Lucas P100 headlamps and the Bentley grill make this car look wonderful. Specification includes rear seats. tonneau cover. kenlowe fan. servo assisted brakes. retrofit Laycock overdrive . outside handbrake. leather bonnet straps and lovely detailing throughout. The car is also equipped with a lockable rear boot and luggage carrier. The 4. 25 straight six engine sounds fantastic and goes like a train. What a wonderful tribute to the original this car is and at a fraction of the cost. This is a true driver's car that will not disappoint. Showing 45. 00 miles with a service file including old mot's etc. Lovely condition throughout. Will be serviced and mot'd before sale.

Hi, is the car still for sale? The headline mentions "blower" but there is no mention or photograph in the details. The headline also mentions "Red Label" but the radiator badge is obviously black. The headline also mentions Petersen Derby, is this correct? The details also mentions a "Harry Rose type body" I guess it's not a genuine Harry Rose? I can't find it on ebay either. I wonder what I can believe? Kind regards, Michael
