1974 BMW 3.0 CS Gorgeous Luxury German Coupe

A absolutely gorgeous example of BMW's iconic 3. 0 CS Coupe with a significant amount of upgrades and supporting documentation.

Originating out of Texas. it is absolutely rust free. with a wonderful two stage paint finish and very nice chrome. dash. nbsp;and stainless.

Upgrades. too many to list herein include a recently refreshed engine (500 miles ago) wherein it was removed. all new bearings. seals. complete head rebuild. new clutch assembly. hoses. belts. nbsp;fan clutch. new alternator. water pump  and much much more.

The transmission has been upgraded from the original 4 (four) speed to a Getrag  265 5 (five) speed manual. giving the Coupe" longer legs" when driving at Highway speeds.

Its intake fuel injected system utilizes a high flow air flow meter. nbsp; and the engine sports a performance camshaft. making for exhilarating performance and acceleration.

Custom suspension and Michelin Tires make it handle like its on rails.  

Interior appointments include recent upholstery. nbsp;power windows (typically slow but functional). nbsp; and working air conditioning upgraded to 134 Freon. There is no sunroof (thankfully). A older cassette radio exists which probably should be replaced with either the original or a late model system. however it works fine.

This is a incredibly beautiful and iconic designed  car which gets continual compliments and "thumbs up" from others when seeing it.  It's a real head turner and without question. a wonderful investment which will continue to appreciate in value annually.

I have full detailed documentation of all the work which has been performed (thousands of dollars!) adding to its provenance.

Fielding many questions. one of which is the engine configuration. this is a upgraded 3. 5 Liter Fuel injected engine (w/ performance cam)  with the Getrag 5 speed coupled to it.   This was a nice upgrade providing more power and versatility  in driving.   Again. the engine was refreshed just 500 miles ago. and is very quick.

Second. the BMW  has new exhaust from the catalyst back and a nice suspension package w/ new bushings etc. part of the innumerable upgrades the BMW has had. and fully documented.

Good grief! 

I continue to get calls with the question. "does the E9 have rust issues?" .   Again. to be VERY CLEAR. this is a rust free car.   

 I just had a gentlemen here from the local BMW club vetting the car for possible purchase for some other buyers and stated. he has never seen one this clean with regards to having no rust. Moreover he complimented the fact the car is exactly as described.  

So. please do not call and ask this question.   Kindly. carefully  read the above listed writeup.   I think I was pretty specific.   This is a very nice E9!!

Finally. this 3. 0CS has a Carl Nelson Sport Spring suspension with upgraded sway bars. bushings etc.
