This car is insured under SHOW CAR status through my insurance company.
History: Original owner had car until 2015. he passed away and was it was bought by pro restorer and gone over in 2015. Technically I'm the 3rd owner although the 2nd owner simply repaired. did mechanics and minor restorations before selling it to me. Always garage kept. has seen no winters. If you need more detailed photos of this XJS please contact me and I'll text you as many as you need. 219-228-0580.
This car is in great condition and turns heads whenever I go. It is not perfect but it looks beautiful. Has very minor dings in passenger door (very-very hard to see. you need to really look for them) Has an inch or so sized bubble in paint (only on paint not rusted through) on passenger side quarter panel (see photo) a bit of bubbling on drivers side where rear bumper meets body (see photo) the bubbling is hard to see unless looked at closely (I'm just being honest on my total description) Has custom wheels which sets this car off (comes with original OEM wheels. )
This XJS was professionally appraised at $11. 00. 00 and I have the documentation to prove it (see photo. ) It was rated a 2 on the official appraisal's 1 through 6 rating standard!! In case your not familiar with the point system. Number 1 is a museum type car that's never driven. shipped to shows etc. . 6 is a parts car. This car was rated a 2.
It comes with the original owners manual and a box full of spare parts. Comes with a stack of repair manuals.
There are photos attached of some of the work in progress on this beautiful car. Mileage may or may not increase due to being driven.
