Mini Cooper 1.3i Sportspack - 1998 - Mint condition

Hi and welcome to the auction of my beautiful Mini Cooper 1. 3i.  
It's with great regret I am selling this - purely due to the lack of a good dry garage.   I have owned this car since 2007 when we imported the Mini from Japan.   My father ran an import business for 15 years. importing all sorts of cars from Japan back to the UK.   when this one arrived - we just had to keep it. It is beautiful.
This car is absolutely stunning - its as clean underneath as its is on top.   The bright work is exceptional - as is the bodywork and paint work.   The interior is also in excellent condition.   I cannot sing this cars praises highly enough - this car presents like a show car -  its a collectors piece for sure.   If we could keep the garage. I'd be keeping it for another 10 years - when it will be worth double no doubt.
So. the car has been garaged since 2007 - maintained each year by a specialist Mini garage - they build and race minis.   Once a year we would MOT and tax it to do the London to Brighton Mini run - each year being invited to present the car in the Show 'n Shine section.   The car always performed without a glitch - even though its used incredibly sparingly.   Anything that's has been needed - has been done without hesitation - but always just standard things like pads. brake hoses etc.   The car has done under 1000miles since 2007.
The car has just had a full service by Colin Jeramiah of Seaford - and as ever the comments on its condition throughout were exceptional.   They will be happy to verify the cars history and condition if required
There is paperwork with the car for works carried out in our owner ship - plus the original condition report from Japan.  
We also have the original owners book pack - from Japan - plus 2 sets of keys.
If I were being super critical of the car - I'd say the headlining could do with replacing - a simple enough job - one that if it does not sell - I will do myself.   Lastly. there is a tiny parking ding - unless you catch it in the right light - its completely unnoticeable - but I believe it happened very recently when not in its garage. very annoying - and as above - if it doesn't sell. I'll get the dent magician out to remove it.
As the car came from Japan - it was. and remains to be completely rust free - and due to the lack of use on the British roads and always garaged (standing on 3 layers of carpet too!!) - it remains completely rust free.
We added the sports pack arches. centre sports exhaust and the deep dish Minilites when we bought the car - just sets it off so well.
As this high spec Cooper came from Japan - it comes with air con as standard. plus the speedo is in km's.
So. by all means. come and have a look.   If you want a Mini that is truly outstanding - in this colour combination - I doubt you'll find a finer one for the money.   Use it or store it away - it will never lose money.   Just needs to be looked after as original Mini's in this condition are a rare find.
The private plate is not included but can be added by further negotiation
