WELL HERES A ADVERT I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER BE PLACINGMY ALWAYS LOVED XJ6 SERIES 2HAVING OWNED IT SINCE 1998 WITH 42. 00 MILES ON THE CLOCK & BEEN CHERISHED EVER SINCEI KNEW THE PREVIOUS OWNER & IT WAS ONLY SOLD CAUSE HE DIED HE OWNED IT SINCE 1995 & HE BROUGHT OF ANOTHER LOCAL GUY WHO OWNED IT SINCE 1983NOW MY OWN SITUATION FACES ME TO SELL

OORS. NY PANEL THAT BOLTED OFF THE FRONT REAR SUBFRAMES. NGINE/BOX. LL THE PIPES. HE ENTIRE ENGINE BAY FUEL TANKS ALL THE HEATSHIELDS. ASICALLY IF IT COULD BE UNBOLTED IT WASEVEN THOUGH IT APPEARED TO BE BASICALLY SOUND THE IDEA WAS TO BE SURE & TO MAKE IT LASTONCE EVERYTHING WAS REMOVEDIT WAS TIME TO SCRAPE AWAY ANY UNDERSEAL OR PAINT TO TRY TO FIND ROTANY ROT MEANT EITHER CHANGE THE PANEL OR IN CASE OF A PART NOT BEING AVAILABLE IT MEANT PUTING IN A CORRECT GUAGE REPAIR IT I HAVE LOTS OF PICTURES OF THIS THEN IT WAS PAINTED IN UNIDOX 90% ZINC RICH PRIMER. EAMSEALED IF IT WAS A CHASSIS PART IT WAS THEN PAINTED IN HAMMERITE THEN WAXOYL UNDERSEALED. HEN WAXOYLED SO IT WOULD LAST. ALL THE FUEL LINES WERE INSPECTED & ANY SUSPECT ONES WERE REPLACED INCLUDING THE REAL HARD UNDER AXLE ONES WHICH I DONT THINK ARE AVAILABLE ANYMORE THIS CAR WAS GOING TO LAST. ALL BRAKE PIPES DONE IT KUNIFER (BETTER THEN COPPER)ALL THE FRONT/REAR AXLE STRIPPED SHOTBLASTED & POWDERCOATEDALL THE BUSHES REPLACEDALL THE SHOCKS/SPRINGS REPLACEDDIFF/GEARBOX DRAINED CLEANED FILTERS GASKETS CHANGEDENGINE STRIPPED NEW OIL PUMP. RANK REGRIND NEW MAINS BIGENDS OIL PUMP ALL THE CHAINS GUIDES. EBORE + 20 NEW PISTONS. nbsp;HARDENED VALVE GUIDES ETCNEW CALIPERS DISCS BALL JOINTS. TEERING RACK ETC ETCTHE HANDBRAKE ACTUALLY WORKS REALLY WELLEVEN SILICONE BRAKE FLUID SO IT WOULD LAST FOREVERAS I WRITE THIS ITS GETTING HARDER TO PART WITH ITITS GOING TO BE VERY HARD FOR ME TO PART WITH THIS SO PLEASE DONT MESS ME AROUND

ALANCENEW SCREEN RUBBERSIT WAS PAINTED WITH SCREENS OUT I AM NOT TOO SURE WAS A TRUE MARKET VALUE IS MAYBE ITS WORTH £10000+BUT I DONT HAVE TIME OR THE PATIENCE FOR PEOPLE TO COME & DEMOLORISE ME TO TRY TO GET THE PRICE DOWNYES YOU MIGHT FIND THE ODD LITTLE MARK OR IMPERFECTION AS THE IDEA WAS TO MAKE IT ROCK SOLID WITH NO ISSUES & WORK DONE CORRECTLY TO VERY HIGH STANDARD  WAS NEVER INTENDED TO SHOW IT ALTHOUGH EVERYONE WHO SEES COMMENTS ON HOW AMAZING IT IS INCLUDING THE MOT TESTERI AM KNOW I WONT GET WOT ITS WORTH AS I AM NOT A CLASSIC CAR DEALER & NO WAY AM I GOING TO SEND IT TO A AUCTION I WANT IT TO REMAIN WITH ME TILL SOLDI HAVE CHERISHED THIS CAR & GARAGED ITITS BEEN DONE AS PRIDE NOT A INVESTMENT AS OTHERSI NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD EVEN THINK ABOUT SELLING ITIT LOOKS GREAT DRIVES GREATENGINE IS AS QUIET & SWEET AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM A REBUILT CARNO LEAKS OR OVERHEATING ISSUESGOOD OIL PRESSUREALL GUAGES SITTING WHERE THEY SHOULDIT WILL LAST I AM ONLY GOING TO SELL IT TO A ENTHUSIAST AS ITS GOING TO BE HARD FOR ME TO PART WITH IT IT REALLY NEEDS TO BE INSPECTED IN DETAIL TO APPRECIATEI HAVE JUST DONE A 40 MILE RUN MIXED ROADS/MOTORWAY EASILY SITTING AT 70 I FORGOT HOW WELL IT DRIVES I HAD NOT DRIVEN IT FOR 2 YEARS ALTHOUGH IT PASSED ITS MOT WITH NO ISSUES OR ADVISORY I WANTED TO RUN IT OUT FOR MY OWN PIECE OF MIND

ALIPERS ETC ABOUT ANOTHER £2000SHOCKS. USHES. IPES. AD. TARTER  ETC £2000SO REALISTICALLY THATS 13K TO GET ONE UP TO STANDARD PLUS THE COST OF BUYING ITI DO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW THE SALE AT ANY TIME SHOULD MY SITUATION CHANGE AS I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT SELLING IT
