- Up for sale I have a nicely restored rare 1955 GMC Deluxe. big back window. short bed pickup with factory ice cold air conditioning. The truck has 6 months full Queensland registration.

- The pickup has a great running 327ci V8 and turbo 400 auto trans. The engine seems mostly stock accept for an alloy inlet manifold. 4 barrel Edelbrock carb. HEI distributor. stainless block hugger headers. polished rocker covers. air cleaner. The old radiator has just been replaced with a new large aluminium radiator. This truck has factory air conditioning. the original compressor has been upgraded and just re-gassed and blows ice cold. the truck also has a newer alternator and a brand new battery. The engine and trans has been rebuilt at some point. it doesn't blow any smoke and runs and shifts fantastic.

- The pickup still has its standard factory chassis which has never been modified or cut. with the original I beam front end. which has been fitted with lowered leaf springs. The truck still has the original drum brakes. which work well. and the factory non power steering box. In the rear it has lowered leafs and air shocks.

- The body is all original and all steel including all fenders and steps. The truck is very solid with no rust issues. it was purchased from LA and as a result the underside is nice and dry and clean. It was repainted around 10 years ago. the paint finish is very nice and glossy and shows very well. it is not a show paint job but perfect as a nice weekend cruiser. The interior. insides of the bed and underside of the bonnet have been body worked and finished as well as the exterior.

- All the chrome work on the pickup is in fantastic condition especially the bumpers and GMC grill. which are incredibility hard to find in such immaculate condition without dints or damage. The pickup also has the deluxe GMC style polished trim around the side glass and rear window along with the chrome vent windows and chrome side window frames. The bed of the pickup has the factory style wood which is in nice solid condition with nice chrome bed stripes. The glass is in good condition with a new windshield and side glass.

- The interior of the pickup has been tastefully retrimmed  with custom trimmed seats. headliner and door panels. The original GMC dash has been left untouched and uncut just painted nicely. the original gauges have been replaced with all new Auto Meter gauges which work great. It has a B&M floor mount shifter. a GM tilt column. and later model sterio system. It also has new carpet and has been carpeted nicely all the way beneath and behind the seat covering the fuel tank. It also has new door rubbers. All chrome and molding throughout is in great condition.

- Everything on the truck works great as it should. including all lights. indicators. wipers. horn. all gauges etc. This truck also has factory air conditioning. the original compressor has been upgraded and just re-gassed and it blows ice cold.

- The truck has a nice set of new chrome 15” smoothie wheels. with nice GM chrome spinner caps. and good BFGoodrich 235/60/15 and 275/60/15 tyres.

- This is a fantastic example of a very rare unmolested GMC pickup. GMC's in this condition are extremely difficult to find and are becoming very valuable. The truck has a current QLD road worthy certificate and full QLD registration.
