I am selling my Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 111 to fund the purchase of an older Rolls Royce which has become available.
I have quite a good history file on the car starting with a copy of the original build sheets including the request for manual windows which means one less thing to go wrong.
Supplied new through the Rolls Royce Dealers Cockshoots Limited Manchester to a Mr WP MitchelL in Mobberley Cheshire.
I have 14 old MOTs and some old tax discs
Some of the Service history which came with the car

She spent most of the 80s in Denver Colorado where much money seems to have been spent and we have 29 invoices adding up to nearly $13. 00.
It certainly makes interesting reading.
Here is a quick resume of the car. Inside has been restored at some time and I think mostly within the last 3 to 4 years and is of a fairly good standard soft leather etc. the headlining is satisfactory and I also think has been replaced. The car was resprayed recently and I think I would put it as fair while others have said its good plus but the door edges are crazed and possibly were not done at the time of the respray as well as a few other points. I am sure many would be happy to use as is. I think it needs a couple of door rubbers fitting and some general fettling. She starts well and fires up and runs well but the real issue is the engine noise. She has had much work carried out in her life but there is a metallic noise which I personally can not put up with. She may be fine for others but its not for me. I don't think its an easy fix but one opinion has been the oil pump needs replacing but another has said that an early Shadow 1 engine can slot straight in and these are fairly readily available but I have not made enquiries about this. You may also find an S3 or Cloud engine somewhere. For this reason I am selling at this low price.
I am happy for any inspection but please note I don't think the car will win any concours d'elegance awards any time soon but its an opportunity for someone to obtain a Cloud 111 for reasonable money. I realise it does need a little work but find me a Right Hand Drive Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 111 with an MOT and history for the same money.
I would like to retain the registration number but have left it on if the new owner wanted to make an offer. It will all add to the pot for the vintage car I have been after.
