1923 Metallurgique.

Very rare car. I believe to be the only one for sale in the world. (please let me know if it's not) Mechanically very interesting and advanced for it's age.

Two engines in pieces. the engine original to the car is shaft drive over head cam. the other engine in pieces is a chain drive OHC. this engine has a new chain. new main bearings. big and small end bearings. gudgeon pins. bored block and new pistons. (all in pieces) Other restoration work that's been started is front end work. New brakes . bushes. boots etc. And wheels were restored and in primer.

Also have a lot of spares. two gearboxes. steering box and column. starter motors and other bits and pieces. Original owners manual (very valuable on it's own) and early photos of car.

This car is a full restoration project. Why spend the same amount of time and money on a lot less interesting more common chev or ford ? My only reason for selling is because it will never happen with me due to too many other projects on the go.

Car is rolling. steering and handbrake working.

Is the Metallurgique still for sale? Do you any provenence on the vehicle? Previous owners, when it was still registered in Victoria? My father owned a Metallurgique in Bentleigh, VIC as his first motor car. So I'm very interested in any details available.
