Reluctant Sale. Much loved CJ-7

We rebuilt this rig in 2004 and have loved it dearly. always kept it under cover and treated with TLC. However between kids and our farm we have not had the time to use it like it deserves. So we have decided to let someone else enjoy all the work we put into it.

This CJ was rebuilt from the ground up. She has been sand blasted. all rust cut out. resprayed. and fully modded up. Over 50k spent on the entire job (probably more but we stopped counting there).

All the mods are backed by an engineers report. the rig has been through a blue slip and multiple pink slips so it's got the nod from the RMS.

It currently has a soft top. we have a hardtop in the shed if you want that too.

With the Holly throttle body fuel injectors the fully reconditioned V8 253 starts first time every time to that beautiful sound. The turbo 700 four speed auto gearbox allows for easy traveling on the highway and gives good power down low and easy offroad. This is backed up by the Dana 300 manual transfer case - best of both worlds. We have also added a ratchet shifter to make it drive like a manual when your in the mood.

The only thing wrong with her is that fuel gauge in the combination gauge on the dash has stopped working. needs a new guage (sender if OK).

All-in-all you wont find a better mechanically sound and kitted up CJ.

Some of the main modifications made:
* Holden V8 253 blue motor (fully reconditioned) with chrome features
* Replaced old turbo 400 gearbox with a turbo 700R4 four speed auto (no adaptors have been used. the 700 was specially fabricated to fit the engine)
* Replaced QuadraTrac auto transfer case with a manual Dana 300
* B&M ratchet shifter
* New suspension with lift. shocks and diffs
* Warn Locking hubs
* Air controlled diff locks with a fitting for tyre inflation
* Holly projection throttle body injection carbi with computer control
* Mallory distributor
* Replaced all wiring with new painless wiring harness
* Chrome highlights
* New auto meter gauges
* Nice purring custom exhaust with extractors
* Brake booster! A must for these CJ's
* Brand new carpet and seat covers
