1996 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL T

Bentley Motors state that from drawing on the success of the Continental R. the Continental T provided even greater performance and a sharper driving experience from the time of it's launch in 1996. A shorter wheelbase provides more dynamic handling. and along with more dramatic body styling. accentuates the Continental T's dedication to performance. Only 350 Continental T's were ever built and visual differences include extended front and rear wheel arches. engine-turned dash with chrome finished instruments and the Continental T's engine responded to a separate push button starter.
This stunning example has covered just 59000 miles and comes to us with a full service history. The T was first serviced by P&A Wood at 1675 miles and again by them at 7111 miles in 1997. The next nine services were carried out by Harwoods of Sussex at 8449. 13295. 14585. 16362. 21865. 25133. 26090. 28537 and 32116 miles. P&A Wood serviced the Bentley again at 35702 miles in 2005 and the last five were carried out West London specialists Hanwells at 47888. 52583. 53441. 56185 and 57482 miles. Adding to the comprehensive service history. the Bentley comes with over £10. 00 of receipts for work carried out by Hanwells. The Bentley has clearly been maintained to the highest of standards and has come to us in excellent mechanical order. driving superbly. The car was driven to us from Norwich and performed perfectly on the four to five hour journey.
The Bentley is finished in Diamond Silver Blue with Silverstone hide upholstery and was ordered new with several Bentley approved non standard features to include piping to the front and rear arm rests. Slate hide trimmed steering wheel and gear lever. Blue Bentley badges. engine turned centre console facia panel. engine turned rear ashtray panel and various other interior enhancements. As standard the Bentley was equipped with a superb specification to include Sundym windscreens. convex door mirrors. headlamp power wash. adjustable head restraints. luxury leather and of course the impressive intercooled 400 BHP turbo charged engine. Every aspect from performance. speed. luxury and condition is quite superb and the T presents superbly with stunning bodywork. paintwork and fabulous upholstery. The car is a true master piece and with such low production numbers is destined to become increasingly desirable in years to come.
