Thanks for taking the time to look at the NO RESERVE auction for my beautiful GT6 mk3.

This is one of the last GT6's produced. manufactured in 1973 and registered in 1974. This is the non rotoflex model with overdrive. arguably the one to have!

Finished in it's original rare Magenta - code: 92

It was body off. nut and bolt restored in 2005 and has only covered 3900 dry miles since it's restoration. As you can see from the photo's it remains in excellent condition. the floors. sills and chassis are still as new. There is a very comprehensive history file with the car documenting all expenditure throughout it's life including a photographic record of it's restoration.

The amount of work that has gone into this car is too extensive to list but some vital info: new floor pans. new boot floor. new inner and outer sills. new bootlid. nbsp;new rear inner and outer wings. new rear valance. complete engine rebuild. Stanpart exhaust manifold. twin stainless straight through exhaust system. new inlet manifold. twin SU carburettors. new oil cooler. new water pump. reconditioned radiator. electronic ignition. overhauled overdrive gearbox. new clutch. new brake master cylinder. new brake calipers. braided brake hoses etc etc.

As you can imagine. the car is an delight to drive. it starts first turn of the key. holds good oil pressure. pulls extremely well through all the gears. the overdrive clicks in and out of 3rd and 4th gear effortlessly. t stops very well in a straight line and goes round corners like it's on rails.

The original 4. 5j steel wheels with chrome centres have been recently refurbished and have new tyres fitted all round

The paintwork was done in two pack paint and has a deep lustre. it's polished regularly and still looks great.

The bright work is very good all round

The interior is in good order. the seat backs have been re-foamed and re-trimmed. the carpets are all in good order. every switch. knob and dial operates perfectly.

The car is Mot'd until July 2017 with no advisories at all and is tax exempt. fully comprehensive insurance is just £170 per annum for me.

All in all this is a very well sorted example of a highly desirable british sports car. these cars continue to climb in value year in year out so will prove a worthwhile investment for someone that can be enjoyed at the same time.

If you would like to view the car before the end of the auction or ask any further questions. please feel free to call me (Dominic) on 01491577582 or 07568439021

Payment and collection within 5 days of the auction ending

Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
