1994 JAGUAR XJ-S V12 6.0 Facelift - Full History - Great condition - Rare Car

Here we have my 1994 Jaguar XJS 6. 0 V12 Automatic.
This is a fairly rare car as this was the last of the V12's with the capacity increased from 5. 3 to the 6. 0.
The car is in very nice condition but it is 20 years old so do not expect mint - I would rate it as very good. there is no rot in the usual places (sills. wings. windows etc) - I have spent a lot of money having the underside of the car made solid. There are some minor bodywork imperfections - the front spoiler is split. few marks on the main bodywork and the rear bumper has been scraped (by me recently) on the o/s corner. I might be being over critical - you need to come and see the car. I have just recently had the bonnet and scuttles repainted as there were stone chips and some lacquer peel - all good now.
The wheels and tyres are all good and the car is fitted with a stainless steel exhaust system that has larger tail pipes that make the V12 noise much more noticeable. certainly when accelerating away anyway!
Internally the car has full cream leather in very good condition. electric windows. seats and mirrors. central locking (remote - can be a bit dicky). original Jaguar radio/cassette with 6 CD autochanger in the boot. It also has ABS and cruise control.
The car does have air-conditioning which does work but it needs gassing - it uses the newer gas so no need for conversions.
The mileage is 148K which is nothing for a V12 and has service history. some Jag. some specialist - last service was a large one which included all 12 spark plugs. Not a lot of mileage has been done since.
The car runs very well. starts and stops as it should - it does have ABS.
This car will return over 40 miles to the gallon if you drive carefully. erm. not quite - if that is what you want you need a diesel. if you budget for 15 miles per gallon you are nearer the mark. It is a 6. 0 V12 320BHP leviathan after all.
This is a really nice old Jag that would not look out of place at any classic car show.  
The car has the private plate L6LTR - (6 LiTRe - quite appropriate)
It has always been garaged whilst in my ownership and is a lovely colour combination of the metallic red and cream leather - it is a real head turner.
You cannot buy a car like this from looking at the pictures and reading the description - you need to view.
