Lamborghini Urraco P250S for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.05) based on 750 votes

We've finally decided to sell our Lamborghini Urraco. We've had it for 6 years and carried out lots of work. It has been used fairly infrequently but we have done a few long trips in it including driving down through France. over the Alps to Milan and Italy last September. The last 2 pictures were taken in Italy.

The car is the ‘S' model with factory fitted air conditioning. electric windows and leather seats. Included in the sale is the valuable and transferable number 7FVD. It is a very rare right hand drive model. Full MOT and tax until September. Also included is what looks like the original tool kit. owners manual and an italian 'workshop' manual (I have an english pdf version too).

We have carried out the following work in the last 18 months:

-          Rear subframe. engine. transmission and rear suspension removed. cleaned. painted and re-fitted.

-          New cam belt. idler bearings and tensioner rebuilt with new spring.

-          New water pump/alternator toothed belt.

-          New air con pump belts.

-          New points.

-          New condensers.

-          New plugs.

-          New rotor arm and distributor cap.

-          New ignition coils.

-          Carbs removed. cleaned and professionally tuned.

-          New stainless steel braided fuel lines.

-          New air filters.

-          New oil filter.

-          Recent engine. gearbox and diff oil change.

-          Valve clearances adjusted and ignition timing recently set.

-          All new rubber coolant pipes. with stainless steel marine grade jubilee clips throughout.

-          Radiator re-cored.

-          New thermostat.

-          New ‘o rings' to thermostat housing and water pump outlet.

-          Heater control rebuilt and modified with stiffer springs to help operation.

-          New clutch master cylinder.

-          Clutch slave cylinder rebuilt.

-          New speedo cable and serviced driver (on front offside wheel).

-          New throttle cable outer in engine bay.

-          New handbrake cables.

-          All new bleed nipples to the brake callipers.

-          Handbrake callipers freed and re-assembled with copper grease.

-          Front suspension stripped. cleaned. painted and reassembled with AST top mounts.

-          New steering damper.

-          New classic 1970's radiomobile with modification enabling an MP3 player to be plugged in and run through the original speakers.

-          New battery.

-          New alternator regulator.

Runs and drives really well although I am not sure whether the milage is correct.  It has been completely waxoiled in the wheel arches. to the underside. within the sills. fuel tank cavities and inside the doors. There is some bubbling to the paint around the windscreen (2 or 3 about the size of a 5 pence piece). by the radio aerial and a little on the leading edge of the front bonnet. The paintwork is very deep with a great shine but has a few very minor imperfections. It is very. very good but not concourse.

The underside is rust free (including the lightweight covers to the fuel tanks) and the jacking points. The tyres have lots of tread and no cracking. They are evenly worn. The spare is brand new and unused. The engine bay and front compartment have been cleaned. painted and detailed. All the aluminium cooling pipes have been removed and polished.

The interior has the original carpets which are a little thin but perfectly fine. The driver's seat has a little wear but there are no tears. The tucked headliner is like new as are the back ‘seats'. I have removed the gear lever gaiter and made an open gate cover as I prefer this but the original gaiter can be re-fitted if preferred.

The front flash lights have been replaced with newer items that are not the original carellos (which were in poor condition) but I'll supply the originals with the car. Everything works except the air conditioning and the electric windows. All the components to the air con are there and the unit in the car does seem to blow out air so it may work if re-charged. We've just never got round to looking into it. The driver's electric window works intermittently and the passenger's window just needs re stringing. I'll include a roll of appropriate steel braided wire for this.

A great opportunity to get hold of one of these incredibly rare (only around 500 were made) cars whilst the prices are still reasonable. Ready to jump in and drive down to Italy again!

Please remember that you are bidding to buy. Please contact me beforehand if you have less than 10 feedback. I'd need the car moved within about a week of the end of the auction. I could deliver within about 75 miles from Chester if you pay for the fuel and my train fare home!
