Significant amount of receipts for spare parts. upgrade parts etc. Technical documents covering upgrades Ziebart anti rust treatment from new (Original certificate included). has meant the vehicle has staved off much of the dreaded corrosion over the years. although car has had some welding in the past.  but it's all solid now and the underside has all been retreated with Corroless corrosion inhibitor and top coated in Matt black. The car has just passed its MOT with no advisories. and has 1 years tax (no fee as classed "historic vehicle". I have spent many man hours on this vehicle and know pretty much every inch of her inside and out. if you know your MGB's the most important aspect is structural integrity! and this car is sound. the MOT tester said it was absolutely solid. although I know this in any case having spent so much time on her. The body has 1 or 2 blemishes. including a tiny amount of surface rust on the rear wing top seams. ut it is very slight and only surface as the inside of the seams are fresh as a daisy. The only other area that isn't in keeping with the rest of the car is bulkhead area in the engine bay. I haven't got round to cleaning this up and painting it yet but if it doesn't sell that will be my next project. The wheels are original Dunlop items however at some point the chrome must have corroded as they do and a previous owner had them blasted and painted silver. I have attempted to address this by painting in the black areas as it should be and in my opinion it looks pretty good without going to the hassle of splitting the rims and rechroming.   Prior to sale car will undergo full service. incl. all lubricants. filters. plugs. points. condensor. all grease points lubed. etc. etc. etc.  If anyone is in any way interested please don't hesitate to call me on mobile 07505 236831.

Forgot to mention in original listing. buyer collects. obviously I am prepared to discuss the arrangements  and will be reasonable with this however I will not be delivering to the South of France or any other far flung destination. I shouldn't need to say this. but for the record the vehicle isn't moving from under its cover until it has been laid in full.

Just had the 5th "Is it a genuine factory v8" question. I thought the listing header would have answered that question. but for the avoidance of any doubt. It is a genuine factory original MGB GT V8. not a copy. lookalike. or conversion.

Been asked several times now. "What's the body number?" So for the record the body number is GB75D 001416P. for the uninitiated. this number appears on a  body colour painted and welded plate on the  bonnet slam panel. near side. close to the red plate Comission number and is not on an aluminium plate like the Comission number and the Car number.  This number. however. to the best of my knowledge means little or nothing. and according to some sources was never recorded by the factory.
