The service book for this car shows 14 Mercedes-Benz dealer stamps and two from The SL Shop. There is a folder of documents and receipts. including a pre-delivery inspection sheet dated 13th June 1989.

On July 19th 1996. when this car was 7 years old. a proud new owner took ownership of it. The documentation for the car shows that he used his older 300SL as a part exchange. upgrading to this wonderful 4. 2 V8 model. All of our showroom cars undergo a comprehensive pre-delivery inspection which includes multiple checks and extensive tests. During this process. anything that doesn't meet our high standards will be attended to. which is why it can take some time for one of our cars to come to market.

For added peace of mind. every sales car is subject to a road test to ensure that it behaves exactly as the factory intended. We test the car under load. idling in traffic. cruising on the motorway and ambling along country lanes in Worcestershire. We check the engine and drivetrain as well as all the controls. from the heaters to the adjustment of the seats.  
3. Will my car be serviced before I collect it?
As with all our cars. this example will be sold with a full service using manufacturer correct filters and fluids. The car is then independently inspected and given a full 12 month MoT certificate.
4.  Will my classic car come with a warranty?
