This MGB is subject to a long story of restoration. I bought it from a friend who had the bare shell totally restored and rebuilt all suspension. steering etc. He disappeared off to Thailand to live. I bought it from him with a view to using it as a fun car in the summer. Three operations later I don't think a sports car is for me. I finished the restoration which includes new hood. carpets and replaced the engine because I was unhappy with the semi-souped up one that came with the car. Everything that my friend had not replaced with new. I did. This was going to be my toy. After four years I finally finished the work and totally lost the desire. Everything on this car works as it should. The tyres are new and the engine is now totally standard including bore size. big ends. mains etc. I have converted the two six-volt batteries to a single twelve volt. The car is taxed (free). ew MoT and ready for you to drive home. Any queries 01225 765656. I cannot emphasise how much time and money has gone into this car.
