MGB GT 1970This car belonged to my father for many years. sadly he passed away a couple of years ago - in memory of him we had the car resprayed in British Racing Green as he had always wanted. and generally spruced up. however now it is time it went on to a new owner.
The car drives very well and is in good overall condition.  I have recently changed the oil. spark plugs. air filters. HT leads. fitted new points. cleaned and balanced the carbs. as I said it drives really well and is in regular use out and about the country lanes of Suffolk!
It has the original non overdrive gearbox. nbsp;should you wish to fit overdrive it is quite simple to swap the gearboxes over. but actually for country lanes and A roads it really doesn't need it.
The condition of the body is pretty good. it was resprayed about four years ago. I would say it is in condition two. there are a couple of small bubbles ( see pics). according to our local bodyshop these would be quite simple to fix. the wire wheels were purchased new about four years ago.  The chassis is in good condition. when the car had its mot the garage remarked how good it was underneath.  There is a stainless steel exhaust.
The interior is original and has a nice patina of age. the steering wheel is an original Moto-Lita which looks and feels great. everything works. however please bear in mind everything works to 1970 spec!!  The one thing that is missing is a stereo. but all the wiring is in place so its a simple matter of plugging in a new one.
So overall a very genuine MGB. is completely usable as it is and ready to enjoy.
