This auction is for the pictured 1966 MGB Roadster. this car went a fill restoration ay MG Mecca of Norfolk. works were completed by them in September of 1999. the car has covered less than 2000 miles since then!! it has always been dry stored and well looked after. The works carried out by MG Mecca in 1999 totalled upto £8000. 00 which included a full repaint. rebuilt wheels. rebuild engine. retrim in black leather with green piping. car was completely wax oiled and unleaded petrol conversion to the cylinder head. The car was also re-wired at this point and all new brake lines/calipers etc were fitted. I have just had the car MOT'd for the first time since 2001. it required. 2 x new batteries. new brake cylinders. new brake flexi lines. a new fuel pump and a set of plugs and points. aswel as an oil change. The body of the car is in excellent condition having been wax oiled just after it's rebuild. it sadly has some very minor dents and chips from storage but nothing at all serious (a dentmaster type bloke would get them out). the chrome work on the car needs love with some Autosol but isn't bad. she is very presentable. but I guess it depends what you are looking for. the car drives well and looks great. A very useable example of this great fun car. Everything works. as does the overdrive. obviously having been in storage for a long time it needs a bit of love here and there but nothing expensive or hard work.
