1959 MG A Roadster 1600 with Ford 5 speed gearbox conversion. front disk brakes and knock on wire wheels with with radial tyres inc. spare.
Originally imported in the 1980's from California by my father in law who had it professionally converted to right hand drive & fully restored the car from a bare shell with no expense spared. Was then used on sunny days only for the next 20 years and always garaged. Sadly my father in law passed away 3 years ago and left me the car which is kept indoors but does not get used so it is time to allow someone else to enjoy it.
The car has very good body & paint work with one blemish to paint on drivers door. all bright work is excellent including stainless steel boot rack. Interior is in grey leather & vinyl with red carpets all excellent including grey vinyl roof. tonneau cover & clip on sliding perspex side windows. New battery fitted this last winter. just needs using & someone to look after it.
Historic vehicle not requiring an MOT & with free road tax and is available to view in lock up barn 3 miles from my home.
