I have for sale my 1962 Jaguar E Type 3. roadster for full restoration.  I imported this car from the US in 2014 ready for me to start restoring when I retired but unfortunately circumstances have changed and I can no longer do the work needed so I have bought myself another  E type that is MOT'd and on the road meaning this one has to go.
It is an early car with the desirable aluminium dash and bucket seats and has the covered lights and smaller back lights. it is arguably the best looking of all the E types.  Matching numbers. nbsp;engine block. head. body and chassis. I haven't been able to check but I assume the gearbox also matches.

As you can see from the pictures the paint is falling off all over the car but it does look straight. t is mostly complete. the only things I know are missing are the boot badges the small chrome grill on the top of the bonnet and a door handle and window winder. I think these probably went missing at the docks as souvenirs and as usual the radio console is missing I think it was restored in the 1980's and is solid but to make it look correct it will need floors and cills etc. etc.  which is why  I am selling it on the basis of needing a full restoration     The car starts and runs and drives in and out of my garage but the engine  will need attention. The front brakes do work. they have a new master cylinder but the back ones are not connected.  There are a couple of extra holes in the aluminium dash but I will include another original aluminium panel to replace it.
I have the heritage certificate from Jaguar and the car was originally cream with a black interior. my plan was for it to be gunmetal with a red interior. I also have the letter to confirm that all the necessary import taxes have been paid. A great chance to buy an aluminium dash 3. especially now as the cars are getting more  more expensive to import from the US due to the strength of the dollar against the pound.
It is a very desirable car and once restored will be a very valuable car.
