Rarely available and perhaps a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase a sensational UK RHD 1972 Fiat 500F in the stunning Tahiti yellow. Very few F's were sold in the UK and in the early 70's most 500's purchased were the L model for a few more pounds. however the L lacks the purity of an F with its simple facia. desirable round speedo and charming unadorned front end. In short. this car is for the purist who seeks originality. has set his or her sights(and budget)somewhat higher than a LHD worn out ex Italian badly restored 500.

This car has covered a mere 19. 00 miles. was garaged from new and then discovered about 10 years ago with an '89 tax disc in the window. it was then dry stored in the back of a car showroom for over a decade. It has no rot/rust anywhere and has never succumbed to the dreaded welders torch and will never need to. The shell is simply as new. heel arches. oor bottoms. ills. pare wheel well. loors etc are utterly sound and unaffected by corrosion of any kind. The interior is original. idy and unrestored. o rips or tears as one would expect with these miles. When discovered the car was in it's original paint however was showing a few minor storage marks and paint chips which let down it's appearance.

The decision was thus taken to have a windows out professional paint to the highest standard which it received. These very late 500's were being built alongside the then new Fiat 126 and therefore shared the new floor pan which was stronger and less susceptible to corrosion. The car has just had a full service and complete brake overhaul and needs nothing. I know of no other RHD rust free unrestored car(let alone late F) currently for sale. so if you are in the market for a superlative investment example then this car should be seriously considered.
