1989 BMW 6-Series

For sale is a stunning example of the E24 6-series produced from 1975-1989.   This example is a last model year 1989 with a 5-speed Getrag 256 manual transmission.   It features only 69. xx original miles on the rolling odometer.   The color combo is black (086) over tan interior.   The full interior has been switched to the more desirable “highline” which graced the 1987 only L6 model.   This upgraded interior features leather covered lower dash. door panels. headliner. visors. and further includes the rear center console with A/C vents.   Nowhere else can you get the luxury of an L6 with the M30B35 engine and 5-speed manual.   It's the best combination possible.  

Engine is the upgraded M30B35 produced only for 1988 and 1989 in the E24; it features 208hp and 225lb ft of torque.  

BMW style 5 wheels have been professionally refinished with new studs.  They're absolutely perfect.  Good Bridgestone tires all around.  

Everything on this car works as it should.    Features include 8-way power adjustable front seats with driver side memory. sunroof. power mirrors. A/C. power windows. fog lights.

A/C works and blows cold.  The dash is crack free.

No rust anywhere.  

This car is mechanically ready to drive with fresh fluid changes including:

-Oil & Oil filter

-Red Line MTL in the transmission

-Red Line gear oil in the differential

-Power steering fluid flush

-Brake/clutch fluid flush 

-Clutch and throw out bearing were replaced with new Sachs parts only 2k miles ago.

-New ceramic brake pads.

Upgraded features include a custom exhaust which gives the car that perfect inline-6 tone. a front strut tower brace. and Broadway Static coilovers at all corners with Swift springs.   The front shock towers have adjustable camber plates.

Two keys and original owners manual.  As a bonus a cassette of the top billboard album in 1989. which is of course Bobby Brown's Don't Be Cruel. is included with the sale.  

The original BMW phone is with the car should you like to reinstall it for that retro theme.

This 635 CSi needs absolutely nothing.   It's ready for you to drive and enjoy for years.   There are cheaper E24's for sale but they'll cost thousands of dollars to bring to this condition.   Remember. there's nothing more expensive than a cheap BMW!
