1965 VW Beetle Australian Deluxe Patina RAT BUG in ACT for sale

Up for auction is my 65 Aussie Deluxe Beetle in factory polar white (mostly)

Purchased the car about 4 months ago after i sold my squareback. fixed up afew small bits and pieces. neatened it up a little while leaving the outside as patina'd/ratty/untouched as possible (yes the car has been left to look like this. not sanded back and faked. not bogged up and hit with a cheap shiney paint job). Currently unregistered (had been for 10-12 months before i bought it). may need to be raised and/or drop spindles removed and wheel alignment for rego (pending the inspector/state). Drivers seat has been changed with one a year or 2 newer (perforated style). passenger seat has had the top patched up with fabric. Everything works. wipers. fuel gauge. horn etc. Floor pan appears to be solid with no rust around regular battery tray area. Drivers side heater channel has 2 pin holes in the bottom (pictured - 20c for scale). Rust in LHF lower guard (pictured - hard to see unless you lay down). Overall car is fairly solid with some minor surface rust/bubbles and pitting in places. The engine starts first time. every time - instantly. pulls very well and has a lot of go.

- new deluxe windscreen seal
- 165/60R15 goodyear and 165/80 yokohama tyres (20% worn) on 2 tone factory 15" smoothie rims
- 2 speaker stereo with Bluetooth/CD player
- period correct patina'd roof rack
- Porsche 356 style headlight grills
- height adjustable standard width beam with factory anti roll bar stil fitted
- CB performance 2. 5" drop spindles
- lengthened and notched spring plates
- new Sachs front shocks and steering dampener
- new horn 'D' ring and wolfsburg button

Selling due to purchased VW Splitty project and new daily drive.
