1988 MR2 AW11 SUPER CHARGER - LIMITED EDITION

FIRSTLY. I noticed the listing shows Postage. I have been in contact with eBay on how to remove. but cannot. item is LOCAL PICK-UP or as arranged and described in the description here.

To all those motoring enthusiasts who are writing or reading their book of life "MY MOTORING EXPERIENCES" - If you haven't got a Chapter on owning and/or driving an MR2 AW11. this is your chance to right the wrongs of life.
As I. (the owner) move into my mid 60's (with a smile on my dial and a realisation I maybe getting past it for this type of motoring) the decision has been made to release this marvellous little car into someone else's care so they too can enjoy the driving experience they offer. These cars are getting quite rare and there would only be a handful (especially in this condition) left. so remember this is your opportunity.
If not sold. quite possibly will go back under her/his "bunny-rugs" and become a part of my eventual estate. albeit I hope this is some way off yet. Hahaha.

THE CAR.
Totally intact. low kilometres. registered and is the fully optioned factory release SUPER CHARGER Limited Edition model. that is. it is the 4A-GZE with the Super Charger light on the dash. not the 4A-GE with a super charger added. Has all the bells and whistles like airCon. Electric Overdrive. Selective Power Modes. Targa Roof panels that also have the sun shades in VG order.

MECHANICAL.
The car is currently in very good order and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It has had the following work done in recent times that I know of. New gear selector cable. New knock sensor from the USA. New tyres at 98k with the wheels all being professional refurbished at the same time. New sway bar. New trailing arm bushes. New muffler with twin tips. New catalytic converter. New locking cams for the Targa roof panels. New keyless entry with alarm/immobiliser. Rebuilt starter motor. Recon AirCon pump/filters and regassed. New Timing Belt at 98k's. New water pump/thermostat. cam and crank seals with the cooling system totally flushed and bled. Has some spare suspension bushes in the boot.

COSMETICS.
The car has a few minor blemishes like stone chips etc but for a 28 year old car. you will be pleasantly surprised. NO RUST.
The front of the car would benefit from a little work. There is a replacement front spoiler (needs painting) in the boot along with the two small "eye-lids" to go with it and there is a need at the same time to plastic weld a crack in the bumper to the driver side.
As I have said. the tyres are almost new (99%) and wheels are professionally refurbished. they look great. there are no blemishes or cracks etc to the interior and seats have lambswool covers on them.

IN SUMMARY. I believe you would be hard pressed to find a more complete and original car in this condition. K's have just ticked over (yesterday) 100k and Tassie rego is paid to 11/2/2017.
As I said. my mature years have overtaken so it is time to pass it on. I have cared for and enjoyed this fantastic little Super Charged go-cart. I am happy to negotiate interstate delivery (I would drive it) at cost but if it ends up going interstate. I am sure the buyer would want the enjoyment for themselves.
