Rover P6. 1973. 3500CC V8. i bought this car with the intention of bringing it back to its former glory. reality is i simply haven't got the spare time so i have to sell as its in the way. i am a mechanic and i have been right over the car and will give you the good and the bad as best as possible. it is very straight with no damage. needs minor repairs to the back door bottoms and the lower edges of the front wings. it could do with a coat of paint. or tidy it up or leave it as it is. underneath it is very soild and unmolested. never seen a welder. and is original and uncorroded being a Queensland car. the running gear is good but needs the brakes sorting as the pedal goes down and can't be driven. its been off the road a few years and the discs are corroded. also alot of the rubber could do with being replaced due to being old and perished. the interior is complete but tired. needs recomissioning or a very good clean and spruce up. or vinyl paint would brighten it up. there is a crack on one side of the windscreen. the engine starts and runs. it holds water and doesn't over heat. but has oil leaks and a missfire and needs work. the auto gearbox has good. clean oil and works fine. it is totally complete and has good chrome and brightwork and is a straight good project car. all the electrics work as do all the doors. locks. windows etc.  there is a loads of spare parts in the boot. this car will need transporting on a trailer or truck it can't be driven on the road. you are welcome to come and view it. please contact me with any enquires you may have. genuine interest only please no time wasters or dreamers. cash on collection only. call Andy 0432099408. located Gold Coast.
