2007 Ford Performance Vehicles Super Pursuit Cobra BF MK II Auto UTE FPV V8 in QLD

Most of our followers and subscribers will be familiar with the XC Cobra that celebrated the famous 1-2 victory formation at the 1977 Bathurst 1000 race which led to the release of the Cobra XC hardtop the following year. The FPV Cobra was designed to celebrate the 30^th anniversary of the model and combines the original XC Cobra's bold styling with FPV engineering and performance… This isn't a white ute with stripes though. relative to other FPV models. power was increased to 302 kW (over 290 kW). making this the only "R-Spec" to feature both the upgraded handling package and engine upgrade. . Production was limited to 400  "R-Spec" sedans (plus 100 FPV Super Pursuit "Cobra" utes not badged "GT" or "R-Spec") with each vehicle having a unique Cobra build badge identity and supplied to both Australia and New Zealand. Ford Performance Vehicles allocated the build numbers for sedans from 1 to 400 and 1 to 100 on Utes and this example in number 78 of 100 and has travelled only 21. 00k's from new. it has all its sales documents and manuals to accompany the sale.

The Limited Edition Cobra features also consisting of all vehicles starting as Winter White bodies with blue Cobra racing stripes across the bonnet. roof and rear deck lid and is completed by the traditional coiled Cobra snake badge on each front fender. Both the sedan and ute variants were powered by FPV's high performance Boss 5. 4-litre. quad-cam 32 valve V8 engine to produce 302kW of power and 540Nm of torque and boast the 302 decal on the bonnet bulge to match the 302 optioned XC Cobras of the 70's. In addition to the motor upgrade. both models featured unique 19inch. 5 spoke alloy wheels with white accents and a machined-face. The interior is also fitted with leather seats as standard. with each seat carrying the coiled Cobra snake logo. FPV dealers were charging vastly more (up to an additional $44. 00) than the recommended retail price. with early buyers also selling their cars at a premium. This Cobra model has since become highly collectible and remains a great investment and is sure to compliment any car collector's garage.
