EXTERIOR
This Mk2 GTI is in true time warp condition and is finished in the rare Calypso Green. The paint finish retains a glow and lustre that can only be attributed to the most cared for examples. with excellent panel fit and surrounding trim in quite exquisite condition. Being a later spec Mk2 with the bigger bumpers. there is not a single mark on either the front. rear or any of the plastic trim. The inner wheel arches and underside are as clean as the top side. Both dealer plates are still on the car and the original dealer stickers are on both front and rear screens.

The dealer markings (used to monitor how long the cars have been in stock when new) are also still present on the rear lights!

INTERIOR
The appearance. touch and smell of this Mk2 are like taking a step back to 1992 – the only thing not included is the cassette with your album of choice! The seats and door cards display zero sagging or wear. with plastics and switch gear retaining next to new feel and operation.

The original rubber over mats and dealer tax disc holder are present and correct whilst the boot space is immaculate.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This Mk2 has been looked after like no other and despite its low mileage has been religiously serviced every year. The result of this is a car that has stayed in perfect mechanical condition its whole life; so often low mileage cars have had prolonged periods in storage but this car has always had light regular use keeping everything free and working.

The car displays as close to as new on test. with drivetrain and engine in perfect working harmony.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The standard 14″ alloy wheels have polished faces and are in perfect condition. all shod in the correct 185/60/R14 Continental tyres that display only the lightest of use.

The brakes are in perfect working order and pull the car up in a nice straight line.

HISTORY FILE
This Golf was first registered in April 1990 by the supplying dealer – Whites Haslemere - with the car still proudly displaying the original sticker in the rear window.

The car has a full Volkswagen service history up to 2011 and despite only covering 22. 54 miles has been serviced every year. The service book has been stamped every time (21 VW stamps and 2 recent specialist) and all the receipts have been carefully filed detailing all the work that has been carried out.

The original document holder is also present with all the owners manuals.
