Dodge: Charger Base Hardtop 2-Door

This is a 1966 Charger. 383 4 speed.   Both rebuilt.  Rebuilt sure grip differential.  California black plate car. True survivor. All numbers matching. All original.  This car was built in California and spent its whole life there until I bought it a few years ago and drove it up to Vancouver. Canada. My priorities have changed and it's been. more or less. sitting in my garage ever since. Rust free and unrestored with the exception of carpet. seat covers and headliner.  Has some nicks and scratches. Garage bruises. All minor. Paint is faded in spots. I would think that the paint is original.  Factory ordered chrome dress up on the motor and interior. Console.  Power steering and brakes. Factory ordered max cool. with hemi radiator. 11" brakes. I think it was ordered to pull a trailer. because an uninstalled hitch came with it.  Drivers remote mirror. Inside hood release.  Original radio is not working.  Dash lighting was working the last time I drove it. but has quit. Back up lights have stopped working since I last drove it. Park brake warning light not working. Maybe a bulb.  All other electrical and lighting functioning. Has a complete and correct jack. which is a repro. I believe. Still has a bias ply spare tire. Not sure what to make of that.  Runs strong and drives great for a big beast. 4 speed is smooth. Firm clutch. Power drum brakes are strong. This car is a driver. Has some driver door sag when open. Original hinges.

 Please don't bid with any uncertainty. I will try to answer any questions. I answer my phone.  I can provide specific pictures. I will try to get my hoist working this week for better undercarriage pictures.  I have both a California title and Canadian import paper work. so buyers from both countries can bid. Has the certicard. owners manual. California registration cards and lots of documentation for work that's been done. I can drive this car across the border. to Blaine WA. and deliver to you or your hauler.

 This is an unrestored 50 year old car. It is not a show car. What it is. is original and rock solid. structurally and mechanically. A mopar gem. Drive it and enjoy it. It attracts a ton of attention.  Take it to the next level if you want. It's all there. This could quite possibly be the cleanest. unrestored. factory 4 speed 1966 Charger on this planet.  And. optioned the way it is. maybe a one off.   True Mopar guys will not be disappointed with this car.  That's the buyer I want. The rest of you. please don't bother me. thinking you are going to buy this car for the price of a shiny. 318 bondo bucket. that someone's thrown a big block into. I don't have time for that.

 I am describing this car. based on information given to me by the previous owner. my personal opinion. nbsp;and to the best of my knowledge. Do your research and ask questions. I want a straight up deal. Car is for sale locally. I have property in Hawaii. and have shipped cars there from Seattle. If you live there. $1500 will get this car to Hilo. on top of the buy it now price.
