Built at the San Jose plant in California on 6th April 1967 and sold by Tallakson Ford in Seattle. this Mustang has been in the hands of only three owners from new. The third owner purchased the car in June 1998 and embarked on a very detailed restoration. this is confirmed by a large file showing the extensive range of new and correct parts used. The 289 has been bored over and a mild cam has been installed. Performance is further enhanced with a Four Barrel Carb and Aluminium Edelbrock Intake Manifold along with Cobra Ford Aluminium Rocker Covers & Chrome Air Filter Housing. A modern Electronic Distributer is also fitted to make the performance reliable. With twin exhausts and a disc brake conversion this Pony is a real treat to drive. It has covered very little mileage since its restoration and is in outstanding condition throughout. The Black Bucket Seats. Wood Rim Steering Wheel and Centre Consol give the cockpit a fabulous feel and the new American Racing Alloys with White Billboard Lettering set the car off perfectly. A very nice soft full size car cover is also supplied as well as a full set of Locking Wheel Nuts. We found the car garaged in Glendale on the south western side of the Phoenix valley where it had been kept pretty much unused for a number of years. we had a new and correct Vinyl Top fitted by a fantastic local firm called Kermit Vinyl Tops. really nice guys. (The original had very minor sun damage. ) Power Steering and the C4 Automatic make this the perfect affordable Mustang for easy regular driving to your local or distant club meets and Classic Car Shows.
