EXTERIOR
The eye-catching Maritime Blue paint looks superb on the 964. Under our studio lighting the body retains a glossy finish with only a few discreet blemishes worthy of note. The car remains straight down both sides and is entirely corrosion-free. Furthermore all plastic trim maintains a fresh satin black finish. with all lenses free from any cracks or moisture.

INTERIOR
Despite featuring a full welded roll cage and flame-retardant bucket seats. the cabin still retains much of the 964's period charm. On close inspection the upholstery presents extremely well with no marks or wear to mention. The door cards too are free from any scuffs. and while the dash and centre console are not perfect. all in all the interior is very presentable indeed.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Lifting the rear lid reveals a very clean and tidy engine bay with all pipes. plastics. and rubbers appearing in great order. The air-cooled 3. 6-litre engine is in excellent fettle having been well maintained from new. Undoubtedly the car sounds magnificent and certainly performs well. not surprising since it has covered little over 25k miles to date.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The RS sits on the correct set of 17-inch magnesium Cup wheels. Having been refurbished at some point they remain in good order. showing few signs of age-related wear. They are shod in a matching set of Michelin Pilot Sport tyres.

HISTORY FILE
The NGT was first registered on 12th December 1991. and was supplied new by Porsche. Stuttgart. The car remained in Germany until 2010 having had just three owners. It was then supplied to its new owner in Japan by Thomas Schmitz (a renowned Porsche RS specialist) who noted in the corresponding documentation that a front-end repair had been carried out. The Porsche has now been imported into the UK with all duties and taxes paid. The chassis number identifies this car as number 76 of 290 examples manufactured.

Present in the history file is the vehicle handbook as well as the original dealer-supplied maintenance book. This is complete with the options code sticker and no less than eight German service stamps. The service history is further verified by numerous German documents plus invoices from Porsche and Porsche specialists. all present in the file.
