1954 Jaguar XK120 3.4 OTS. Old English White for sale

This 1954 XK120 was originally delivered to the USA as a LHD car. As an archetypal ex-California dry state car. it was imported to Eire in 1994. At that point. it was converted to RHD. using all correct period parts. It was registered in Eire and subsequently came to the UK in 2003 and has had three owners in the subsequent 12 years.

Whilst looking exceptionally "period" on the exterior. with its steel wheels and rear spats. it is underneath that really gets our juices flowing. The Cylinder Head was overhauled in 2009. and the car is stated to have an 8:1 compression ratio. It also has the benefit of a lightweight flywheel and a rather sporty sounding exhaust. A conversion to disc brakes at the front completes the list of modifications. and compliment the uprated performance really rather well. The car was accepted as an Invited car at VSCC Events in 2003. and took part in their 2003 Goodwood Sprint. It would be welcome we are sure at XK Owners Club. JDC and JEC events.

It looks as if the car has never been restored. but it was repainted in 2007 and rewired in 2013. The interior. which is red leather with red carpets. whilst not concours. is comfortable and usable. We have a new Hood and Frame. along with older sidescreens to accompany the car. and a black tonneau cover which is arguably a lot easier and more practical to live with on a daily basis!
