Rover developed three special versions of the mini to celebrate the car's 35th Birthday. Naturally John Cooper himself also spent time in the workshops to develop his own. Most mini fans know that the mini was launched in 1959 but not all realize that it was also the year John Coopers Formula One Team won the World Championship Constructors Title. With this double celebration in mind John Cooper his son Mike Cooper and their team developed their own Special Edition making just 35 Mini Cooper Grand Prix's. From the word go this was going to be a unique car

Max is number 32/35 with 22k on the clock in British Racing Green. He recently sailed through his MOT with no advisories. We keep him garaged and only 'let him out' on sunny dry days. Condition wise hes pretty immaculate. bodywork is in excellent condition with no signs of rust. his interior is stunning no rips or tears to the leather. original carpeting is all in great condition. the walnut vaneer on the dash has a few cracks in it but nothing major. Max is the most amazing car we have ever owned. Over the last few years we've not seen another Grand Prix at any of the mini shows nor have we seen one for sale in the UK . My guess is a few have probably found their way overseas and most are sat in private collections reputedly including Sir Michael Caine and Sir Jackie Stewart's. We have lots of photos of Max so more can be sent if wanted.

Viewings and a mug of tea are welcome
