Lotus : Super Seven Kit car NOT AN ORIGINAL

 RM LOTUS SUPER SEVEN S2 Project Car Kit car
Near complete RM Lotus Super Seven S2.

I simply have way to many projects on the go and something needs to give. This is the easiest one for me to let go at the moment.
If not sold. it will eventually be turned into a track car.

This kit was originally manufactured in Port Elizabeth. South Africa by a company called 'R. M. Classics'. The company manufactured replicas of all sorts of classic sports cars. but got into trouble violating Caterham's patent on the design and had trouble exporting the cars anywhere and have been closed for a number of years. There were two different models made and the one listed here is the S2 model which is very close to the original in all dimensions which was / is by far the best 7 made.

Comes with the following parts.
Kent crossflow 1600cc engine ( Rebuilt & turns freely) + Cortina / Capri 4 speed tans.
All exterior body work ( fiberglass)
Interior steel panels & wood front floor inserts
Windshield frame
Wheels & tires as shown
Alternator
Spare set of steel wheels
Mold to make fenders
Spare frame
Coil over adjustable shocks
Complete engine gasket set
Box of small parts ( gauges. starters. alternator. brake line. extra tie rod ends etc. )

What is needed to complete the car.
Dash (some gauges are included)
Wiring
New starter ( 2 come with it & work. but new smaller starter would make it much easier to work with)
Floor pans. side panels. rear bulk head need to be installed ( parts included)
Replace glass for windshield (Glass is cracked. Frame is good)
Brake lines ( some are installed. some in boxes)
Drive shaft (need new)
Body fasteners ( only a few are included)
Gas tank sending unit ( new aluminum tank sitting in place)
Radiator ( new required)
Shift lever ( Ford Capri. Cortina etc. fits. but not there)
Pedal assembly. ( none with car)
Exhaust from manifold back
Carburetor ( Weber is best choice)
Seats
Front fenders
Head lights.

This is a project car and with a moderate skill level can be completed easily.
Don't buy it if you don't have the proper tools and knowledge of how to complete a car and are familiar with the nuances of British cars.
Car is located in Ontario and I can help to get it across the border to upstate New York. or come and pick it up.
Keep in mind if you plan to pick it up that there is a spare complete frame too.
