EXTERIOR
The Arden styling studio have truly optimised the gorgeous lines of the XKR here – markedly different to the donor vehicle whilst still retaining the class of its stablemate. Subtle enhancements to bumpers and sills. alongside a revised suspension setup. show the car in an entirely different light with a considered execution of style and performance. The car has been subject to a thorough detailing session and presents in excellent order in Phoenix red. with only a dusting of stone chips to report. An Arden performance exhaust system nestles nicely in the rear bumper. with the tailpipes offering some indication that this is no normal 4. 0.

INTERIOR
A cabin of sumptuous Oatmeal leather. alcantara and Burr Walnut is exactly in keeping with what one would expect from a Jaguar GT. Deep carpets retain excellent integrity and colour with the drivers footwell featuring Arden's aluminium performance pedals. The fully electric and heated seats are unmarked with no distortion. wear or fraying of the stitching and the entry sills are free of marks. The dash is lifted somewhat with the Arden chrome ring surrounds. a subtle touch that compliments the Walnut beautifully. whilst a full alcantara dashboard and headlining presents as the last word in luxury. The rear seats are factory fresh whilst the boot area which remains clean and tidy.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This beautifully presented engine bay houses a true powerhouse; this Supercharged 4. 0 XKR lump. transformed with the exhaust and boost pressure upgrades. has all the urgency and determination of more modern machinery. The Sport button. below the J Gate automatic gearbox. enhances throttle response further still – it is in this mode that the car really comes alive. This particular model is also fitted with the desirable Speedshift gearchange transferring authority from the J gate to push buttons behind the steering wheel. The XKR has always been acknowledged as a true GT and the conversion here is executed in such a way that the car's default mode. one of poise and balance. is not lost; the car is more than happy at a refined pace in keeping with the XKR bloodline.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
Fitted with the gorgeous Arden 19 inch 3 piece wheel set in wonderful condition. having recently been refurbished to OE spec. Tyres are from Dunlop 9000 tyres all round with plenty of tread. Stopping power in the form of the Arden performance brake kit. with 6 pot calipers to front and 4 to rear. a £3. 5k option from new which is both progressive and hugely capable.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new to H. A. Fox in July of 1998 this awesome XKR variant has spent most of its life under the care of either the Jaguar main agent. T L Jaguar specialists or Racing Green themselves. The car has been subject to a great deal of love and attention with significant invoices for both engine and suspension components with all bushes. rubbers and ball joints replaced recently. A full book pack is present along with a spare key and a price breakdown for the Arden conversion to the tune of £45k!
