Launched at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show. the Jaguar E-Type 3. 8
litre was nothing short of a revelation. With its heady blend of
supercar performance. breathtaking styling and low price tag. the
newcomer left rivals reeling and customers clamouring. Early
sportscar racing success at the hands of Graham Hill and Roy
Salvadori amongst others helped cement its reputation. Built as a
monocoque with a front sub-frame to cradle the engine. the model's
combination of all-round independent suspension rack and pinion
steering and four-wheel disc brakes gave it excellent road holding
and handling capabilities. Achingly beautiful yet viciously quick. br/>the E-type remains for many the ultimate production Jaguar.

This genuine. desirable righthand drive 1962 Jaguar E-Type
Roadster has the best specification being fitted with the correct
3. 8 litre engine. original gear box and bucket seats. This superb
matching numbers car was delivered to its first owner Mr Desmond
Egan in Dublin. Ireland before spending many years in France. 1258
WK returned to the UK in 1980 and since that time has covered very
little mileage. Over the last two years this roadster has been
subject to a complete 'ground up' restoration to the highest of
standards to its original specification. Finished in its original
shade of special order Jaguar black with red leather interior. this
stunning E-Type is supplied with a V5C registration document. an
MoT test certificate with expires in August 2016 and a file
containing invoices from the restoration. old MoT's verifying how
little mileage this car has covered since being imported and the
Heritage Certificate showing the original specification when it
left the factory. This British icon can only be described as being
in exceptional condition throughout and offers the new owner one of
the best examples of UK motoring history and. with the continued
