Ford : Mustang

This Mustang is one of the finest restored examples we have handled in a number of years. This car is an original 32. 00 mile example. It has been the recipient of a concourse quality restoration top to bottom. front to rear. Starting with a smooth as glass high quality finish in its striking factory correct color of Ivy Green Metallic. Ford really did get it right when they introduced this deep metallic finish. this Mustang stands out from the others with the complementing medium tan German Hartz cloth convertible top. so striking and rich in appearance. Laser straight body and paint with excellent panel gap fit and finish throughout. All exterior brite work has been. replaced. replated or refinished again all to highest of standards. Highly detailed and absolutley corrosion free undercarriage. as nice underneath as it is on top. please be sure to see the photos. The interior has been correctly resorted back to factory correct colors of parchment. with complementing Ivy Green padded dash and green carpets all found in exceptional condition. All interior chrome and stainless trim is equal in condition. This Factory original ‘C Code' 289 cid V8 still retains the correct and original motor. The motor has been completely and professionally rebuilt back to stock with the exception of a slightly taller cam shaft and electronics ignition. The addition of the cam produces the perfect  sounding idle expected from any respectable ‘pony' car. This and the full dual exhaust in stainless with thru rear valance exhaust and baffled trumpet exhaust tips gives the perfect dull roar rumble.   The transmission has been up graded to a  new Tremec ‘bolt in'  5 speed transmission a wonderful addition to creating the perfect highway cruiser. All clutch components replaced at his time as well.   The engine and engine bay has been highly detailed to show winning standards. All fuel. electrical systems have been fully rebuilt or replaced as required. all braking and suspension components  have been replaced using top quality parts. This has resulted in one of the finest running and driving Mustangs that we have yet to offer. Truly an incredible drive. tight and nimble with  very strong pulling 289 . this Mustang with its upgraded 5 speed . keeps you wanting to roll another 30 miles on the clock. This really is a no excuse example. Please be sure to view the pics to see the great detail and incredible condition of the under side of this great Mustang. Clearly detail was imperative in this no – holds -barred restoration. A well appointed example with. power steering. power brakes with front discs. Rally Pac Tach and Clock. Décor group fog lights. back up lights. trumpet exhaust. Magnum 500's chrome rally wheels.

To drive this Mustang is to understand the precision. detail and quality in the build.   This car is as comfortable cruising boulevards as it is leading the pack on a highway tour as it would be on the show field.   Super strong pull. great sound and straight as an arrow on the up shift as it is on heavy braking.

In all the Mustangs we have handled I would have to say this guy runs and drives as  good as any we have experienced. and look at it. it's a beauty.
